We are being billed 13.60 a month on our Verizon bill by ESBI for Voicexpress VMail. We did not order this. When I called them I was told that someone registered us. They had my email address and phone number. Told them we did not order this and have never used it. They told us we would receive a credit on our next phone bill. We will see.

Spoke with Verizon and apparently they are getting a lot of complaints on this company doing this. Verizon did say they would credit our account for all three months. Told us how to get in touch with ESBI to cancel the service.

We were charged $42.85 last month and $27.90 this month's bill from this scammer ESBI which we never signed up for. My father called embarq and they said that my husband approved the said transaction but that's a total bogus. I will call them tomorrow to get things straight or else I'll do the same as what you guys are doing... send a letter to attorney general.

My husband noticed a new charge on our current Verizon bill. We immediately callled ESBI, and was told I authorized it. All the contact info was correct, except for my mother's maiden name (thank goodness!) We were told it would take 2-4 billing cycles to correct it. In this age of Internet speed, we didn't think it should take that long. We notified Verizon that we were subtracting the $$$ from our bill, and they agreed. Now we'll see how long it takes ESBI to issue the credit. I wonder how much $$$ they're making in interest while they're holding our $$$$??? Hmmmm?? Tell everyone you know to thoroughly peruse their bills for bogus charges!!

My Grandmother had a voicemail charge on her bill. When my Aunt called to find out about it she was told because I use a computer that I must have signed up for it in one of the many surveys I take daily. That was a lame excuse for a charge being added to someone else's phone bill. In all the surveys that I do in a day not one is unreputable and none have ever required my phone number to complete a survey. It was just one more way this bogus company was telling Verizon how the charge was added. Since I have no authority where my Grandmother's phone is concerned how can this be legal? Verizon was very understand and told my Grandmother that the charge will be removed and only phone her regular phone bill. She is on a fixed income as it is and there is no way I would do such a thing to her or any other family member or friend.

AT&T bill has an ESBI charge for $16.07 this month....luckily it's the first charge. I have disputed this with AT&T. Let's stop this company from scamming more people!

I too was billed for 14.95 from ESBI and ATT authorized the billing. I never ordered any service from ESBI.

I was looking for a way to lower my phone bill and internet charges with Embarq. I went over my bill with a fine tooth comb online. For over a year I have been charged $12.95 a month from ESBI!! I did NOT authorize this, have NO idea what it is, although it states on my bill that it's VOICE MAIL ID THEFT SERVICE. Again, I did NOT order this and will be calling Embarq first thing Monday morning!! This adds up to over $150.00!! ESBI needs to be shut down immediately if not sooner!! Once I speak with Embarq and find out 100% it is a bogus charge not only will I demand payment or credit in full, I will then report ESBI! I agree, we need a Class Action Suit against this BOGUS company!!! I wonder how many other people have been duped as we have?!?! Since I make a lot of long distance calls I never looked at my detailed billing statement. From now on I will check every single bill I get on a monthly basis with a fine tooth comb!!! I suggest all of us do and urge our family and friends to do the same!! Let's put an end to ESBI!!! Any takers?

we're in north hills, ca - we just got our phone bill with an additional $30.41 on it from ESBI. My husband kept calling them - their business hours are messed up, and even if you called them during their business hours, all you get is an answering machine.

We kept calling them and finally got a hold of one of these reps... we wanted the charges removed from our phone bill they said they could cancel the account (we never ordered anything from them!) but will not refund the charges. How can we get rid of that company? Verizon will not help us on this. I am about to cancel Verizon. and switch to another phone provider.

I also was billed 3 months for a service I did not authorize I was also charged by a company called Voice Mail Solutions, that part was cancelled, however the Orbit Telecom account is still being charged, I think we should file a class action suit for a refund of our monies

I am currently on the phone with this so called ESBI company. They are telling me that my 13.86 is a NON refundable fee. We will see. I am going to report this company. They are claiming that I was sent "welcome" Emails which I was not. They even said They would resend it which they have not. Now I think they hung up on me!!!
